16th May Old Rectory, Newick. 2pm-6pm. £8. Open Garden, with teas in the Pavilion throughout the afternoon (£5).  Plant Stall -Rapkyns Nursery; Pimms Tent -The Crown; and a Vintage Clothes Sale in the Coach House. (Also, hopefully, three baby Kunekune’s currently being weaned).  Two entrances: Front gate if walking; field gate if driving.  No dogs.  Easy wheelchair access. All proceeds go to St Peter & St James Hospice. If wet, it won’t be cancelled-so take an umbrella. This is a living garden, rather than a show garden, with ongoing projects adapting to a changing climate.

Riverhill, Sevenoaks. 10-5pm. Free for RHS members on Wednesdays and Thursdays  

Wakehurst Place. Year- round interest.

Lullingstone Castle & World Garden, Kent. Prairie Garden open. Free 11-5pm 9th April until 30th October Thursday- Sunday.

One Garden Brighton. Stanmer Park. Free entry, pay to park. Walled garden.

Denmans, West Sussex. Free to RHS members on Sundays until December.
